Visit by the Undersecretary Director General of Programmes and Operations

Former Haitian President, Dr. Garry Conille, the current International Red Cross, Undersecretary Director General of Programmes and Operations, was in Malta to attend the Valletta Summit on Migration.

Throughout his stay, Dr. Conille met with the Interim President, Edward Gruppetta, and Director General of the Malta Red Cross, Paulette Fenech, to discuss the current situation of the National Society and future developments.

Dr. Conille, Mr. Grupetta and Ms. Fenech also held meetings with the Maltese Prime Minister, Dr. Joseph Muscat and the Parliamentary Secretary of Health, Dr. Chris Fearne to discuss possible joint ventures.
