Ambulance Service during the Vodafone Malta Marathon

This year, Malta Red Cross, with its ambulances and first aid teams, provided medical cover from Pieta' to the Finish Line in Tigne', Sliema during the 8^th edition of the Vodafone Malta Marathon 2017. With 6 ambulances, 3 quad bikes, 1 motorbike, 2 Segways (provided by Segway Malta), 2 bicycles, a dedicated control room, 40 first aiders, 6 nurses and 6 emergency doctors, Malta Red Cross ensured the safety of over 4500 participants, treating runners whose conditions ranged from minor to serious.
